Mrs. Alsbrooks is in her first year at Pawnee as our Speech Therapist. She comes to us with a Master’s Degree in Education in the field of Speech Language Pathology received in 1975 from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. She has been providing speech therapy for 35 years and comes to Pawnee through Brush Country Co-op. She has always wanted to teach and found the field of Speech Pathology very interesting in college. She travels from Refugio, Texas once a week to work one-on-one with our students. Mrs. Alsbrooks has always felt that communication is primary and by assisting with communication she is able to help with all of their learning.
