Welcome to Kindergarten

Elaine Dobson

Mrs. Dobson is teaching at Pawnee in her 17th year. She graduated from Pettus High School and currently lives between Pawnee and Mineral. She attended Texas A&I (which later became Texas A&M) in Kingsville, Texas graduating in 1992. Over the years she has taught a Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten mixed class and Reading Recovery but currently teaches our Kindergarten students. She didn’t have plans to be a teacher when she had a day care for ten years while her children were still at home, however, once they entered school, she too went back to school and finished her degree. Mrs. Dobson feels that all children come from different backgrounds and experiences. We just have to pick them up where they are and take them where they need to go.
