Our 21st Century Grant summer program has concluded. There was a large turnout with about 40 to 50 students showing up daily. There were many things going on including trips to the Karnes County Country Club for archery, golf and swimming and a trip to the Fish Hatchery in Flour Bluff. On campus, the students participated in volleyball and basketball camps along with dance, drama and jewelry making classes. The 21st Century Grant is a program which provides enrichment opportunities to students in math and science while in a fun and safe environment and takes place from 8am to 4pm. Pawnee provided transportation to and from Beeville, Mineral and Kenedy in the mornings and afternoons and each day included breakfast and lunch.
