Thanks to a grant from the Ed Rachal Foundation, Pawnee Middle School students are getting environmental science instruction geared toward the South Texas habitat.  Patti Young, the executive director of CBPC presented a set of 25 beautiful hardbound books and an instructor’s curriculum guide to Pawnee ISD on June 15, 2009.  The wildlife books  entitled “Wildlife in Focus IV” contain photos from the 2008 contest that are accompanied by text that teaches environmental science concepts about the South Texas wildlife.
